Energy shots, those pricey one-ounce bottles consisting of caffeine and other supplements, aren’t just for college kids and middle-aged professionals.
According to The Wall Street Journal, seniors are the fastest-growing market for the likes of Five Hour Energy, which has been aggressively marketing to AARP.
Ever wonder how much caffeine is in a Five-Hour Energy? The company won’t say but an independent analysis by ConumerLab.com in October 2010 found 207 mg – or about the amount of caffeine in six Coca-Cola Classics.
